Implementation of cost effective solutions according to departmental standards.

  9. Visual inspection must be carried out on the fit up of the butt weld before welding.
  10. Any defect should be reported to the welding foreman immediately.
  11. Make sure the Gas flow is according to the Welding Procedure Specification.
  12. Back grinding of tacks and stop starts.
  13. When welding starts on butt weld it must be completed before the temperature cool below pre-heat temperature.
  14. Weld must be clean after completion.
  15. Visual inspection must be done.
  16. Maintain a repair rate below 5% as per MRPE KPI’s
  17. Time keeping
  18. Perform other duties as assigned when production requirements dictate changes.
